Hōzō-ji Temple

What it is

• A Jōdo-shū Seizan Fukakusa sect temple.
• Re-established in 1269 by Nyorin.
• Re-established in 1581 by Risshi Gyoku-a.
• Associated with artist Itō Jakuchū.

• The principal image is Amida Nyorai.
