Osaka's ancient Ikukunitama Shrine, known as Naniwa no Oyashiro, offers unique architecture and a lively summer festival.
What it is
- Ancient Shikinaisha shrine, also called Naniwa no Oyashiro.
- Dedicated to Ikushima no Kami and Tarushima no Kami, gods of the land.
- Relocated from Osaka Castle site during its construction.
