Inryō-ji
蔭涼寺
Inryō-ji is a Rinzai Buddhist temple in Okayama with a unique history of destruction and rebuilding.
What it is
- A Rinzai sect Myōshin-ji school temple.
- Founded in 1632 with support from Ikeda Tadao.
- Damaged by fire in 1898 and completely burned in 1945.

- Rebuilt temple structures after the 1945 air raid.
- Stone structures that survived the 1945 air raid.
- A water stupa, the grave of Mizuno Sadanojō.
