Isono Shrine is a historic Shikinaisha shrine, rebuilt in 1606, known for its autumn festival.

What it is

  • A Shikinaisha shrine in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture.
  • Dedicated to Amaterasu Omikami's Aramitama and Takekunikoribetsunomikoto.
  • Formerly called Isonomiya, rebuilt in 1606 after being burned.
