Itsukushima Shrine is a historic guardian shrine, rebuilt after an earthquake, worth visiting for its cultural property.
What it is
- Originally called Bentensha, a guardian shrine of Ofukurogaya.
- Merged with Azuma Shrine and Hachiman Shrine in early Showa period.
What to see
- The main hall, rebuilt after the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake.
- A Koshin-to, a tangible cultural property dated Kanbun 10.

- A 12-minute walk from Kita-Kamakura Station.
