Jishō-in Temple

What it is

• A Shingon-shu Buzan-ha Buddhist temple.
• Founded in the Heian period by Kukai.
• Also known as 'Neko-dera' (Cat Temple).
• Dedicated to a black cat that saved Ota Dokan.
