Jizō-in Temple

Jizō-in Temple is a historic Shingon Buddhist temple with important cultural properties.
What it is
- A Shingon-Omuro sect temple.
- Dedicated to Jizo Bodhisattva.
- Founded on the Tōkaidō road in Sekijuku.
- Also known as Seki no Jizo.
What to see
- Main hall, completed in March 1700.
- Aizen-do hall, built in 1630.
- Bell tower, built in 1644.
- All three are National Important Cultural Properties.
Getting there
- Located in the Sekijuku Traditional Buildings Preservation District.
