  • A Jodo Shinshu temple in Kamakura dedicated to the deity Amida Nyorai
  • Founded by Hojo Yasutsugu during the Kamakura period
  • Originally established as a Tendai sect temple before converting in 1232
  • The only temple of the Jodo Shinshu sect located within Kamakura City
