Jōin-ji Temple
浄因寺
Jōin-ji is a historic Tokyo temple, home to notable statues, relocated after the Great Kanto Earthquake.
What it is
- A Jodo Shinshu Honganji-ha sect temple in Tokyo.
- Founded by Yūnen, who died in 1646.
- Relocated to Karasuyama in 1924 after the Great Kanto Earthquake.
- One of 26 temples forming the Karasuyama Teramachi.

- The main hall, rebuilt in 1781.
