- A Shinshu Takada school temple founded by Gensei between 1661 and 1684
- Originally located in Sakurada Village before moving for Edo Castle expansion
- Renamed from Jekyo-an to its current name in 1726
- A religious site dedicated to the Amida Nyorai Buddha
