Jōshin-bō Temple

What it is

• A temple of the Otani school of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism also known as Tsushima Gobo.
• The temple converted from the Tendai sect to Jodo Shinshu in 1391.
• It historically served as a venue for land surveys and tax collection.
• The main image of worship is a statue of Amida Nyorai.
