Jōshin-ji Temple
浄心寺
Jōshin-ji Temple is a historic Buddhist temple housing a Kannon statue, part of two pilgrimage routes.
What it is
- A Jōdo-shū Buddhist temple.
- Founded in 1616 by Kanrensha Tōyo Monkyō.
- Moved to its current location after a 1657 fire.
- Shōnen-ji Temple was merged into it after the war.

- An Eleven-faced Kannon statue.
- The 10th site of the Edo 33 Kannon Pilgrimage.
- The 17th site of the Ueno Ōji Komagome 33 Kannon Pilgrimage.
- Graves of many notable people.
