Jōun-ji Temple
浄雲寺
Jōun-ji Temple is a Jōdo Shinshū temple with a resilient history, rebuilt after disasters.
What it is
- A Jōdo Shinshū Honganji-ha Buddhist temple.
- Founded by Yūkōbō Shōnen, a disciple of Shinran.
- Originally in Arakida Village, Musashi Province.
- Moved to its current location in 1700.

- The current main hall, rebuilt in 1967.
