Jūsansha Shrine
十三社神社
Jūsansha Shrine is a historic shrine on Niijima Island, home to 13 deities and a cultural treasure.
What it is
- Largest shrine in the Izu Islands.
- Enshrines Kotoshironushi-no-Mikoto and twelve other deities.
- Founded around 592 AD.
- Relocated to its current site in 1649.

- Main hall rebuilt in 1933.
