What it is

  • A sub-temple of Kokawa-dera Temple.
  • Founded in 990 as Jūzen-in.
  • Revived in 1800 as Jūzenritsu-in Temple.
  • Dedicated to Amitābha Tathāgata.

What to see

  • The main hall, rebuilt in 1829.
  • The goma hall, built in 1818.
  • The kuri, rebuilt mid-19th century.
  • The nurikami-mon gate, rebuilt in 1825.
  • The 'Senshin-tei' garden, a scenic spot.
