Kannō-ji Temple is a historic Nichiren Buddhist temple in Shizuoka City, rebuilt after a fire.
What it is
- A Nichiren Buddhist temple.
- Founded in 852 by Jikaku Daishi Ennin.
- Original name was Kannōzan Takizumi-dera.
- Name changed to Kannō-ji in 1276.

- Current main hall, rebuilt by the 52nd chief priest.
- Temple grounds, halved after the 1940 fire.
