Kannon-ji Temple

Kannonji Temple, founded in the early 8th century, offers historical buildings and statues worth seeing.
What it is
- A Tendai sect temple, founded between 708 and 714.
- Principal image is Sho Kannon.
- Reorganized in 850 by Ennin.
- A branch temple of Enryaku-ji Temple.
