What it is

  • A shrine in Tokyo's Nerima-ku, formerly Jūrasetsunyo Shrine.
  • The surrounding town, Kasuga-cho, is named after it.

What to see

  • The main shrine building, rebuilt in 1917.
  • An Inari Shrine on the right side of the main shrine.
  • Mitsumine and Dairokuten Shrines on the left side.
  • A 'power stone' on the shrine grounds.
  • Komainu (guardian dogs) from 1861, rebuilt in 1917.
  • A chōzubachi (water basin) donated in 1836.

  • The main festival is held on September 15th.
