Kasuga Shrine is an ancient guardian shrine with unique architecture and important deities.

- Originally a guardian shrine for Kairyuo-ji Temple.

- This is the east shrine, Unatari Shrine is the west.

- Shirayama-hime-no-mikoto enshrined on the right.
- Izanami-no-mikoto enshrined on the left.
- Main hall is a sangensha nagare-zukuri style.
- Main hall is a former Kasuga Taisha sub-shrine hall.
