Katada Shrine
堅田神社
Katada Shrine is a small, ancient shrine dedicated to a local deity, easily accessible by train.
What it is
- A Sessha (auxiliary shrine) of Ise Grand Shrine's Naiku.
- Dedicated to Samitsuhime-no-mikoto, a local land deity.
- Rebuilt in March 1921.

- The divine body is a stone.
- The shrine building is 1.3m long, 1.5m wide, and 2.0m high.

- 6-minute walk from JR Sangu Line Futaminoura Station.
- Immediately accessible from Futami Sogo Shisho-mae bus stop.
