Katsute Shrine is a historic Nara shrine, easily accessible, dedicated to Kotoshiro-nushi-no-mikoto.
What it is
- A shrine recorded in historical documents from 1735.
- Dedicated to the deity Kotoshiro-nushi-no-mikoto.
- Also considers Yoshino Yamaguchigami an enshrined deity.
- Merged with Kangoku Shrine in 1912.
When to go
- Annual festival is held on December 8.
- Shinko Festival is held on a Sunday in late July.
