Katte-sha Shrine is a unique Shinto shrine built atop an ancient, scallop-shaped burial mound.
What it is
- A Shinto shrine in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.
- Founded by Southern Court remnants during Nanboku-chō period.
- Dedicated to Katte Myojin, Amaterasu Omikami, and other deities.
- Built on a tumulus, part of the Shidami Kofun Group.
