- Established in 1949, replacing the original Teishin Shrine.
- Enshrines 634 war dead from former Kawaminami Village.
- Also enshrines 12,000 war dead of the Army Airborne Troops.
- Grounds are the birthplace of the Army Airborne Paratrooper Unit.
