- Dedicated to Emperor Kaika, the 9th emperor.
- Founded in the 6th year of Emperor Yuryaku's reign.
- Also known as 'Kyu-Teio-gu' or 'Kyu-Dai-o-sha'.
- Its crest is the 'Minogame' (straw-cloaked turtle).
