Kichijō-in Temple

Kichijoin is a historic Tendai temple with important cultural properties, founded in 737.

- A Tendai sect temple, also called Gokokuin.
- Founded by Gyoki in 737.
- Dedicated to the main deity Senju Kannon.
- The 3rd sacred site of the Mogami 33 Kannon.
