Kōchō-ji Temple is a significant Nichiren Buddhist head temple founded in 1276, preserving rare treasures.

  • A head temple of the Honmon Butsuryū-shū branch of Nichiren Buddhism.
  • Founded in 1276 by Nichiren, with co-founders Nichishun and Nichiho.
