What it is

  • Meguro City park, also known as the Former Maeda Residence.
  • Preserves the Former Maeda Family Main Residence.
  • Opened in 1967 as Tokyo Metropolitan Komaba Park.
  • Transferred to Meguro Ward in 1975.

What to see

  • Western-style building, completed in 1929.
  • Japanese-style building, completed in 1930.
  • Both buildings are National Important Cultural Properties.
  • Western-style building renovated and reopened in 2018.
