Kōmyō-ji Temple

Komyoji Temple is a historic site in Fukushima, home to a large Kannon statue that survived a fire.
What it is
- Jodo-shu temple in Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture.
- Founded in 1520 by the monk Getsu.
- Known as Kumakura Kannon, 7th of Aizu's 33 Kannon temples.
- Principal image is Senju Kannon.
