What it is

  • A keyhole-shaped tumulus from the early Kofun period.
  • Identified in 1953, designated a historic site in 1975.
  • Developed into a park between 1999 and 2000.

  • The tumulus is about 54 meters long.
  • Posterior circular part has a diameter of about 34 meters.
  • Three box-shaped stone coffins were found.
  • Magatama and kudatama beads were unearthed.
  • Located on a hill 46 meters above sea level.
