Kōshu-ji Temple
光取寺
Koshuji is a historic Buddhist temple in Tokyo, notable for its Stone Buddhas and a Yokozuna's grave.
What it is
- A Jodo-shu Buddhist temple.
- Founded in 1624 by Koyo Chido.
- Original name was Keianji.
- Moved to current location and renamed Koshuji in 1661.

- Stone Buddhas from the former Jikishi-in temple.
- Grave of Jinmaku Kyugoro, the 12th Yokozuna.
