Kōzō-in Temple
香象院
Kozoin is a historic Buddhist temple, once a large school, easily accessible by train.
What it is
- A Buddhist temple, mountain name Fugen-zan.
- Founded or restored by Tadahide in 1583.
- 26th sacred site of Shin-Shikoku Tokoku 88 Pilgrimage.
- Once the largest terakoya in Hodogaya-shuku.
