Kuragarinomori Hachimansha

What it is

• A historic Shinto shrine in Nagoya, also known as Wakamiya Hachimangu.
• Founded between 1163 and 1165.
• Dedicated to Emperor Ojin, Empress Jingu, and Emperor Nintoku.
• Selected as one of Nagoya's ten famous places in the Taisho era.

What to see

• The 'Yoroizuka' where Minamoto no Tametomo's armor is buried.
• Torii gate with a plaque handwritten by Tokugawa Yoshichika.
