Make Shrine is a historic shrine in Kyoto, notable for its unique north-facing orientation and large main hall.
What it is
- A Shikinaisha (Myojin Taisha) and former prefectural shrine.
- Dedicated to the deity Omiketsuhiko-no-mikoto.
- Known as the only north-facing shrine in the Tanba region.
