Matsuo-ji Temple
松尾寺
Matsuo-ji Temple is a historic Tendai temple, home to important cultural properties and Kannon statues.

- A Tendai sect temple, originally Hosso sect.
- Restored during the Genkei era (887-885).
- The 13th temple of the Omi Saigoku 33 Kannon Pilgrimage.
- Main deity is Shō Kannon and Eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva.
