Migukurumitama Shrine

Migukurumitama Shrine is a historic site in Osaka, rebuilt multiple times, with ancient burial mounds.
What it is
- A Shikinaisha shrine, also called Shimonosuibun-no-Yashiro.
- One of three Mikumari shrines of Kawachi Province.
- Dedicated to the deity Migukurumitama-no-Okami.
- Burned down in 1331 and 1585, rebuilt in 1660.
What to see
- Main hall and upper worship hall, rebuilt in 1660.
- Shrine faces east, looking towards Mount Nijo.
- Kofun group (ancient burial mounds) behind the main hall.
