Mino Kokubun-niji
美濃国分尼寺

What it is
- A temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect dedicated to the deity Yakushi Nyorai.
- Originally founded in 741 under the orders of Emperor Shomu.
- The current temple buildings were rebuilt in 1615 after a fire destroyed the original.
- The grounds are designated as a National Historic Site.
