Miroku-ji Temple

Miroku-ji Temple is a historic pilgrimage site with ancient statues and a rebuilt main hall.

- The 83rd temple of the Chita Shikoku Pilgrimage.
- Founded in 749 by Gyōki, or 814 by Kūkai.
- Rebuilt during the Genroku era after being burned down.

- The main hall enshrines a Miroku Bosatsu image.
- The Hōkyōintō pagoda was built in 1755.
- A wooden seated Miroku Bosatsu statue is a cultural property.
- Wooden Kongō Rikishi statues date to the late Heian period.
