Mount Hakone

What it is

• A man-made mountain standing at an elevation of 44.6 meters inside Toyama Park.
• The highest point located within the Yamanote Line loop in Tokyo.
• Originally built as a garden for the Owari Tokugawa family using soil excavated from a pond.
• A former site of the Rikugun Toyama School used as a filming location for television dramas.
