Mount Ichijo

What it is

• A mountain in Kyoto standing at an elevation of 130 meters.
• One of the Iwakura Five Mountains located in the Sakyo Ward.
• A site that underwent significant residential development starting in 1981.
• The peak was reduced from 143 meters to its current height during construction.

• The Nagashiro River flowing along the north side of the mountain.
