What it is

  • A 1138-meter mountain located in Otsuki and Uenohara, Yamanashi Prefecture
  • One of the Yamanashi 100 Famous Mountains and part of the Gunai Three Mountains
  • Named for its distinct fan-like shape when viewed from the southern side
  • A peak situated on a branch ridge of Mount Gongen featuring a southern fault scarp
