Mount Rai

What it is

• A 954.5-meter mountain peak located on the border of Fukuoka and Saga prefectures.
• Part of the Sefuri mountain range composed primarily of metamorphic rocks like serpentinite.
• A destination also known by the name Sosogidake featuring a grassy plain called Sosogino.
• Home to the Sennyoji Daihiouin temple and the Fudotaki waterfall.
