Mount Tenjin

What it is

• The lowest peak among the Sapporo 50 Mountains at an elevation of 89 meters.
• A protected green zone formed by pyroclastic flow deposits from Lake Shikotsu.
• Named after the enshrinement of a Tenmangu shrine on the mountain.
• The terrain was shaped over time by erosion from the Toyohira River.

• The Sapporo Tenjinyama Art Studio located at the summit of the mountain.
