A 959-meter peak on the Nara-Osaka border famous for its vast plateau of spring azaleas and panoramic mountain views.
What it is

- Early to mid-May to see the azaleas in full bloom near the summit
Getting there
- Take a bus from Kintetsu Gose Station to reach the ropeway station
- Ride the Katsuragi Mountain Ropeway from the base directly to the summit
