What it is

  • A 2,903-meter peak located on the border of Nagano and Toyama prefectures
  • Part of the Shirouma Sanzan group within the Ushiro-Tateyama mountain range
  • Commonly called Shirouma Yarigatake to distinguish it from other similarly named peaks
