Mount Yoza

What it is

• The highest peak in Itoman City at an elevation of 168.4 meters.
• A site composed of Ryukyu limestone and mudstone in southern Okinawa.
• A former battlefield from 1945 now housing a Japan Air Self-Defense Force base.
• Part of the northern slope belongs to the Okinawa Senseki Quasi-National Park.
