Muku Shrine (Minano)
皆野椋神社
Muku Shrine is a historic village shrine in Minano, dedicated to ancient deities, easily accessible from the station.
What it is
- A village shrine in Minano Town, Saitama Prefecture.
- Dedicated to Sarutahiko-no-mikoto, Onamuchi-no-mikoto, and Omoikane-no-mikoto.
- Granted the rank of Jugoinojo in 872.
- Formed by the merger of 27 local shrines in 1907.
What to see
- Gokoku Shrine is on the left side of the main hall.
- Soreisha is located behind the main hall.
- Minoyama Shrine serves as the Okusha (inner shrine).
