Myokyo-ji is a Nichiren Buddhist temple with a history of destruction and rebuilding.
What it is
- A Nichiren Buddhist temple.
- Converted to Nichiren Buddhism in the Bunwa era.
- Re-established in 1937 by Sekizen-in Nichiho.
- Rebuilt in 1950 after 1945 air raid destruction.

- Kishimojindo Hall was built around 1887.
- Kishimojindo Hall was destroyed in the 1897 Hachioji Great Fire.
