Nakase Tenso Shrine

This small Tokyo shrine offers a unique look at local history and a rare enshrined object.
What it is
- Originally a Jūrasetsudō, separated from Myōshōji Temple.
- Became Tenso Shrine due to the Shinbutsu-bunri order.
- Now an external shrine of Igusa Hachiman-gū.
- The enshrined object is a phallic natural stone.
