Nanshun-ji Temple is a historic Shinshu Otani-ha temple, worth visiting for its serene grounds and modern gate.

What it is

  • A Shinshu Otani-ha Buddhist temple.
  • Founded in 1629 by Emi Hoin.
  • Revived by Eryo Hoin after abandonment.
  • Moved to its current location in 1868.
