Nemichi Shrine is a historic village shrine in Gifu Prefecture, known for its deities and local festivals.
What it is
- A village shrine in Itadori, Seki City, Gifu Prefecture.
- Dedicated to Nemichi Okami, Izanami-no-mikoto, and other deities.
- Renamed Nemichi-sha in 1876.
- Many shrines merged into it in 1909.
When to go
- Spring festival is held on April 5th.
- Autumn festival is held on the first Sunday of October.
